1. Acceptance

By creating an account on Marco Map ("the Service") or using it as a guest, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Who we are

Marco Map is a broadband analytics dashboard operated by Broadband Catalysts. It is provided as-is and is intended for research, planning, and policy analysis.

3. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to circumvent authentication, rate limits, or access controls.
Don't use the Service to harass, dox, or harm third parties.
Don't re-publish bulk extracts of Marco's derived data sets without attribution.
Don't upload data to Map Builder that you don't have the right to use.

4. Attribution

When citing analysis or screenshots produced by Marco Map, attribute the source as "Marco Map (beta.marcomap.ai)" and identify the FCC Broadband Data Collection vintage (e.g. 2025-06-30) if your claim depends on a specific vintage.

5. Data you upload

User-uploaded geometries (GeoJSON, Shapefile, KML, CSV) that you submit to the Map Builder remain your intellectual property. We store them only to render your Map Builder project. We will not sell, license, or republish your uploads.

6. Data we provide

Marco Map re-distributes public data from the FCC Broadband Data Collection and 13 other public sources. Errors, omissions, and modeling decisions in upstream data will propagate through Marco Map. Marco Map is not suitable for legal, regulatory, or compliance use. For authoritative coverage data, consult the upstream authority directly.

7. Account termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the Service, or create excessive operational load. Termination does not affect our obligations under the Privacy Policy regarding retained data.

8. Liability disclaimer

The Service is provided without warranty. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Broadband Catalysts disclaims all liability for loss arising from use of Marco Map, including loss of profit, data, or business opportunity.

9. Changes to these terms

Material changes will be announced on /changelog and reflected in the Effective date above. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
