FCC Challenge Evidence Collector

Document what speeds your home is actually getting, then file a challenge with the FCC to correct the official broadband map.

How this works

  1. Fill in your address and the internet provider whose advertised speed you want to challenge.
  2. We will run real speed tests from your browser every few hours, for at least 3 days. Each one is timestamped and saved.
  3. When the campaign is done, you download a ZIP containing a CSV of every test, a labeled PNG of each one, and a pre-filled cover letter you can attach to your FCC challenge submission.
Leave this browser tab open. The tests run from your computer, so the browser tab must stay open for the campaign to finish. You can keep using your computer normally — even close your laptop lid briefly — but if you close the tab the schedule pauses. You can always resume from the link we save for you.
Reference: the FCC's official challenge process is documented at help.bdc.fcc.gov.
